Many people carry shame, guilt or self-blame after experiencing trauma or abuse. It can affect how you see yourself, your relationships and your sense of safety. Whatever has happened, you deserve to be heard with compassion and respect. Healing is possible, and support is available when you're ready.

We use a trauma-informed, survivor-centred approach grounded in professional practice. This means:

Taking the First Step
The first step is a confidential, no-pressure conversation where you can explore whether counselling feels right for you.

We use a survivor-centred and qualified BACP and NCPS trauma-informed approach that recognises the complex and lasting impacts of sexual violence.
We provide specialist trauma-informed counselling for people affected by trauma, abuse and other overwhelming life experiences. If another service is better placed to meet your needs, we'll discuss this with you and help you access appropriate support where possible.
Your privacy and safety are important to us. Counselling is provided in a confidential setting, in line with legal and ethical requirements.
If we have concerns for your safety or the safety of another person then we may need to share information to the appropriate agencies.
